big building´s oddity

Breathing some metres above ground,
just a few minutes later
the siglo, the south, the cars & buses, the tilos, the bakery, the school, the law, the exits & entrances seem already a sort of abstraction.
Heart of the block´s old towers, rusty roofs, birds, bats, needles, semitropics, skies, lights-shadows & slide sounds
slowly,
day to day, hour to hour
made the way
to your small box.

breathing looking seeing
rust sleeping bats
dark shadows and bright light
angles of abstracted design
strong verticals keeping you in from the space
out there
it takes an effort to know these things
what we can call cognitive meditations
in the fall below the curve of the world
you are there mindful and awake

internet connection feels tired today
fresh air & low indigo clouds at sunset
& chants, bombos & shouts from the east side
(it sounds like some form of festive-politics or fútbol  )
blessings & resilience vows from a friend
life scrolls
in jueves´s night
(official beggining of our national mental weekend)
also jumps from little boxes to little boxes
in a wink of an eye
in a "mientras tanto en................"
as the historietas when we were kids used to state
opening possibilites
beyond them...

without the shadows
and the rust
the vibrant white, blues and greens
would be able to "POP!"
quite so much

Arcadia, I imagine a ding, ding, dong, from
A bell tower in the building in the distance
In your wonderful picture...
One of my nieces just got back from Ecuador,
Wishing she could tell me of her trip,
Just a little bit more... 8)
