Spring passage

Post by StanFoster » May 1st, 2011, 2:09 pm

Yesterday was prom for my son
Today, the cherry trees blossomed
Yesterday was prom for my son
Today, the sun came out

The pictures would have been better today
My son didn't notice

And probably never will

Stan, the man, arrives,
springing in with prom blossoms
and sunshine phrases! We reach
our hands up to the blazing sun,
thankful for sons who are grown up,
and new poets who have shown up!

Welcome, friend,
to a place to spend
some time where spring feeds
energy, hearts to minds, where
I hope you'll find peace and beauty,
poetry and from the soul, where your
whole being can spread out like wings
and fly the height of the sky!

Stan, the man, arrives!
Springtime is a good time
to be alive!

Welcome! :)

cherry colored leaves detail fragility, the wind has episodes
slingshot shoreline plays with the temperature,
the moon is dancing

Neo,

I don't know if you can see it, but there is a face in the green swirls. It looks like a sax player leaning back and blowing out the jams.

The other colors in the image must be the music.
