an article wondering about Al-Assad posible hidden strategies ...

http://www.nytimes.com/2013/08/28/world ... ml?hp&_r=0

Robert Fisk´s today article in pagina12 questioning the controversial -at least for USA- power-place that Al Quaeda (it seems they exist after all ...) would have if the strikes on Syria from western countries starts ...

http://www.pagina12.com.ar/diario/elmun ... 08-28.html

Even if it´s not exactly a surprise if you look at the last fifty years, I guess it must be a difficult time for the citizens in the auto-involved countries to know that your country will possibly be part of another beyond the borders war ... The wide range of positions & propositions concerning it between the readers of this note, got my attention:

uhhh... France was the always & first enthusiastic one (at least in surface & an almost caricaturesque was) in relation with Kadhafy´s erasing, now the UK seems to take the posta concerning Assad ...: sorry, Cameron & friends, but sincerely I don´t give a cent for your supposed concern about the civil population in Syria ... :?

good for the brit parliament this time! :) (at least viewed from here and no matter the posible causes for their decisión...).

interesting points in this article:

http://www.counterpunch.org/2013/08/30/ ... ibilities/

My country will propose to embargar armas and send humanitarian help, it´s an intervention but of another kind.
Strikes definitely won´t help: I hope Russia, China & Iran keep firm but calm and that also they stop sending since now their weapons along with USA & friends to the whole zone ...

Assad, you are in the eye of the storm already, don´t mess more the things and don´t rely too much in your supposed allies ... they don´t live in Syria ...

& Obama ... were you cool or what??

Obama: can you decide a war without a Congress aproval? and if the Congress says "yes" to the surgery, the strikes, the drones and so on and and you want "no" to that, can you say it in your country and stop a war?. I´m trying to understand at the moment how much personalist -maybe in your caso & in most of them I have to translate to corporative- can a USA president be ... Image the scenario if you say "no": "I´ll checked more time the datos, I´ll talk with the UN, I´ll calm Israel without bombing the neighbors, I´ll stop sending weapons to the rebels because I already know it´s a boomerang, I´ll invest more in not being so economic dependant to oil & gas, I´ll listen to my people, I´ll try to understand the Syria dynamics without demonizing them, I´ll face the fact of a fraud-intelligence-tramp concerning the chemical weapons there if that happened or if I already know it that happened ..." ...you have a great use of rethoric, maybe even you can reach some followers in your inner circle, who knows? and just wonder it: how bad can it be? :)

Fisk looks now in this article at the iranian shadows & the USA´s government mix of hybris and fear:

http://www.pagina12.com.ar/diario/elmun ... 08-31.html

& France now has Hollande but the government made a sad decisión once more ...

oh, well ...

you already said "yes" ... and you are a democrat... so, I guess your people can´t put too much expentantions in the republicans for a "no" ... or yes? ...Have you considered a more direct democracy concerning this caso? ... is imaginable the possibility of making a referéndum about the way of strikes to another country with the argument of humanitarian reasons and when your state security is not in danger ? Maybe this time it can be an alternative if you can´t see "good options, great options" and so on ...

http://www.nytimes.com/2013/09/01/world ... =1&_r=0&hp

(in this article I realized that it seems it´s a costumbre in your journalists to say repetidamente "Mr. something..." when talking about their presidentes, the same they did with Bolivia´s president ... :) )

Are you really concerned in the syrians (dead and still alive) or are you acting if fear that Israel became a big nazi gas camera or a big trinchera alla First World War or it´s just empire´s interests in action ... do I have to worry about it?? :?

well, It´s enough for trying to change the world for today, I have to do another things....

have you read this site? Sure you know about it or have intercepted it or something like that...! I surprisily found our president propaganda in it! :) (well, at least this site is not saying we are beyond dissapeareance or finals or death as it did and still do some of the new york times, the haaretz and the jerusalem post ... you sure can tell me if I have to believe them, or no? :) )

http://www.globalresearch.ca/peoples-up ... da/5347463

yeah, sure you know about it! , it came as a link talking about Israel expansionism ...

well, now I plan to end with yesterday´s Dead Cow´s empanadas, enjoy the september sun, meet some friends, do work for the week and light candles, best wishes to you!

maybe it´s a good moment for the world to ask about what kind of "intelligence" we tend to trust ... ... too much use of this word in the last months ... maybe it´s also a good moment for wondering at least for its semantic field ... :?

The news of the world is going to make a Buddhist out of me eventually. My Nobel peace prize winning commander-in-chief draws red lines in the sand and then backs off. What the F... do I know? At least I don't get nauseous when I look at his picture on TV, not like Bush jr., but I do feel sad for the way of the world. That is when I wish I was a better Zen-er If that makes any sense?

Something like 70 percent of the people here are against a war on Syria. For what that is worth.

I wish my Obama had the balls/cajones your Cristina has.
Cojones (Spanish pronunciation: [koˈxones]) is a Spanish word for denoting courage when used in the phrase "tener cojones" (equivalent to English "have the balls to") or testicles. It is considered a curse word when used by itself as an expletive in Spanish. In English, as a loanword, it means courage, brazenness, "nerve" etc.

I guess it´s good somehow both for your compatriotas and also for the world beyond the USA to know that Obama in this decisión has only the 30% of support from the people of his country ... who knows?

and about Cristina´s cojones, cajones? & zen ... I don´t know, I guess in the world´s power game we just posses at the momento the karmic-luck to have only the capacity for damaging ourselves ...

I would like to damage myself less
sometimes my head floats above my body
as if it had not a care in the world
for what happens to the rest of the body
Zen is discipline
to keep in touch with with myself a while longer
karmic dice been kind to me
so far

The United States of America
We are the last bastion of the holy roman empire
We must keep the peace till the Chinese can help us with our heavy white man's burden.
Sorry for ramble
Have you read Steve Plonk's post on Obama and Syria? It is on his wild horse cafe blog?
