Sports & competition is a good thing..."Different strokes for different folks". The world

Steve, I'd like to make this forum a "sub-forum" of the General Discussion forum or move it into the Artlog blog section. Please let me know which you'd prefer. Thanks!

What would a sub-forum look like? Would it be under General Discussion like this:
General Discussion
Chat Spot

If so, it would work for me...Thanks.

It would look similar to that, yes. I'm trying to streamline so I have rearranged some other forums also. Let me try it as a sub-forum of General Discussion to show you. Thank you!

Kind folks & gentle people, where you at? This here "chat spot" is open for commentary
from the wide open internet universe...How's it going folks? We're ready for comments
about either the mundane or the profound. Just don't give too much of the gory details...

I walk with my shadow, I listen to my echo in the hills,
Where is the old chit chatter, as the birds chirp up their trills...
Speak folks of the internet, speak, do you listen to the mockingbird?...
To wit, to woo, I don't see you... :)

I have written the following general post to many of the more than 200 emails that come in to my directory every day. This general post covers some 30+ categories of requests and invitations for me to comment. You might enjoy the read, Steve, if there are not too many words. If there are too many words, just scroll-down, skim and scan at the link below, or don't bother reading it at all---and such an activity on your part, with this brief post here, will serve as my response to your prose-poetic post today, with April Fools' Day gone.-Ron Price, Tasmania, Australia

Kind of ironic that Earth Day is a good day to consume. All kinds of sales going on for things to use less resources and also freebies like reusable biodegradable shopping bags.
so I can buy more stuff and feel good about it..:D
Happy belated earth day to y'al
Cinco De Mayo also
and Happy Mother's day too

Pray for the folks in the Colorado Springs, Colorado, metro area (USA).
A forest fire destroyed 500 homes in nearby towns & is still uncontained.
It is the biggest fire in Colorado's history.
One of my brother's homes was a total loss. Two people died, so far, in the flames. :(

Sorry to hear about your brother's loss
I hope he can rebuild.
I trucked through that area many times, puckered up on my seat in the winter on those mountain roads. Just a flatlander at heart, but still loved the vistas.
...
ramble ramble
chit and chat

I used to be a real estate agent, we had a listing for an "A" frame up on a mountain top near Monticello. I wanted to live there but the thought of an average of eight feet of snow each winter put me off a little. Even if I did have an old Jeep Cherokee Grand Wagoneer that was made when they were still building them like a Sherman tank. It would sure go in the snow. 7 in the morning and it is already hot and sticky here in texas today, very pleasant to think of cool mountain mornings in the summer ...

in the meantime
