"Saint Theresa's Prayer"

May today there be peace within.
May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that
has been given to you.
May you be content knowing you are a child of God.
Let this presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to
sing, dance, praise and love.
It is there for each and every one of us…

Steve,

I moved the Chat Spot into the Artlog forums. Just to let you know. I'm rearranging all the forums so the site is more simple to navigate.

Steve, I'm trying to assign you the moderator role for this forum but I forgot how to do it. I'm trying to figure it out.

Edit:
I figured it out. Sorry, it's been a long time since I assigned moderator permissions.

I'm sure they will. There are lots of regulars in the artlog section and I put it right on the top. BUT, if it doesn't work out, we can try another spot for it. :)

Thanks, Mingo. Yes, the Riverbend Festival's final night finished without a hitch... 8)
Clear skies, could even see the stars... :)

Highlights of the final night were: 1) "Stone Temple Pilots" &
2) "Dead Deads"( which was an all lady rock band).
Then there were fireworks, which we saw from
a distance on our way home... 8)

Spent about a week on the shore of Baltimore & environs...My daughter was up there for
a concert with her boyfriend from Harrisburg, PA. We drove up from Chattanooga, TN,
and met up in a local Baltimore hotel. My daughter & friend saw a concert & the National Aquarium & we also saw Ft. McHenry--which was awesome. It is really a cool ride on the water taxis...So, Baltimore lived up to it's moniker of "Charm City". People of all colors appeared to get along nicely. We got plenty of help from folks of color who went out of their way to help an old tourist couple & young company. :)

My wife & I also saw the Baltimore Washington Monument,
the Walters Art Museum & some really fine churches. One day, we visited Edgar Allan Poe's House & Museum, then went & visited Poe's grave at Westminster Church Graveyard, near the U. of Maryland. We ate at some great restaurants during the week & walked & rode the shuttle bus lines. We also took a cab, one day,
to a Fells Point breakfast nook, called "Blue Moon". :D

Then we ended our stay by seeing the fourth of July fireworks in Baltimore's Harbor.
Outstanding! Two sets of fireworks going on at two different spots in the Harbor! 8)

I can't go home again. But I get homesick for my homeboy Dino when I think about the times we talked about Fell's Point and our younger days there.

Soon after we got back from our wonderful trip to Baltimore, MD,
some muslim shootist went nuts & killed 5 servicemen & wounded several others.
Then the local police shot him dead.
Today, there is a "Chattanooga Strong" service for those who couldn't attend the funerals.

Joe Biden, the Veep, both our US Senators & the mayor,
governor & several other dignitaries are going to be there. The first 8,000 people will be allowed in for standing room only...
We support the families & so on. God bless them. Traffic will be blocked off
for hours...
