just came to jam
to hear the new hoot

still miss my little chinese dog
women so long gone I don't even think of her anymore, except maybe a couple times now and then

just playing the blues

thanks for the words and music
too quiet here
or not quiet enough

any more quiet I be dead
need the music
thank you
you set me up for the sink or swim jam

thought about you now and then wondered if you been up on the mountain, has it snowed yet?

what does it mean
beats me
I only think I understand
the spirit of jam
no matter
just the call from the action
the chill of the jam

Just that slow cooked boysenberry jam,
Cooked on a grill by the jetty,
Blam de lam, spread on black bread,
Blam de lam, eat it with lamb...
When we're ready, hey...

Blam de lam, with jest a l'il mint julep,
Sipping liquor slow,
Flowing with the go,
Take the chopper past mountain tops,
Then flying down low,
Landing on the pad,
Remembering & glad...

Take the folks some lamb supper
Along with black-eyed peas,
Some great greasy greens,
Remembering our teens...
Inside from snowy scenes...

Take it up high,
Move it down low,
Flowing with your go,
Back to old San Antonio...

Time travel.
A visit from a friend I hadn't seen
since we were teens.
Everything old is new again.

Captured youth, a blazing fire,
the recognition of spirits reflected from irises,
moments embraced like children,
the quick spin of clocks that don't seem to stop
easily holding time captive for a three-day dream.

Did it really happen? Seems
we were unable to stop it from ending.

another minute
another hour
another day
another week
another month
another year

strung together
like beads

time is a rosary,
time is a prayer

a funny melody
my foolishness
I could die laughing

time's delusion
I could not hear
the silent screams
the wretched of the earth

I want to drown it out,
not to hear
Shiva dance

oh my foolishness
how young old I am was

mood swing

blackberry winter
blackberry
fresh blackberries in winter
cheap too

makes me want to dance too
if I only had a beat
I would settle for a rhyme
or reason

I ate fresh blackberries today
and all the while I wondered how did these beautiful blackberries come to be here in December. What was the carbon tax.

blackberry winter
so far from the warm sun
winter is to be endured
the last page

no beat
no tune
just type

slow jam

blackberry jam
toast no toast
tea no tea
zen no zen

Sending over the great
New Years kiss ****
`Do you know, I was so angry, Kitty,' Alice went on...`when I saw all the mischief you had been doing, I was very nearly opening the window, and putting you out into the snow! And you'd have deserved it, you
little mischievous darling!

A New Year's kiss,
An answer to a prayer,
The world will continue on,
To spite an old soothsayer... 8)
