I take a deep breath to steady my pounding heart, I hit >ctrl> V for paste, but before I do I think about Wireman and first thoughts

second thoughts I miss e_dog, as I think about John "I can kill them better" Kerry, and I think about barren wombs and the biological imperatives that keep us rooted to this world in love

pasting...
up against the wall red necked muthers
who are frightened of their sons
so easy to put the blame on someone else
what if the evil was in you
in me
who wants to look at what is on the end of our forks
what is hidden in each man's heart of darkness
you know I know all about Nietzsche
I read an article about him in Readers digest

after us the savage god
Buddha BUddha my heart
oh compassionate master
and Jesus broke my heart

crazy r us
pardon my Aspergers
I should know by now that you
you can't open you heart to every one
The first truth is that you can’t really trust yourself to see through your delusion on your own.
I used to be smart.

so easy for me to rush to judge her
who really cares about her
outside of a small circle of friends

in the meantime it is bongo in the congo
and school murders are a very rare event
the news schmooze
scare the hell out of you
and then give you helpful hints for holiday gifts.

it was the worst of times it was . . .
life after the flood
the fire next time
the brave new world blues

I lean on my own understanding
my own time
my belief in progress
my belief the world is a better place
and these are the good old days
with a little help from my friends
>
guns for every one
good guys bad guys even little babies
got fun on the brain, not guns
altho i always wondered
if jesus hadda been shot insteada hung onna stick
would today's folks wear little pistols round their necks?
and fathers hand them down to sons
on birthdays and graduations, sayin...
"here boy, this'll keep you saved.
talk to this when you need to."

...and then i realize that yeah,
they already do.

isn't it the way things go

between grief and despair
hysterical laughter
he looked like death
skull faced
what is on that hard drive
they say he left no foot print on the internet
they say he he wanted to be a united states marine
but his mother nixed the idea
he could have been in Afghanistan killing bad guys

my grandniece is two years old
she cries today for her own reasons
I used to be smart.

every moment
i choose
to see light or darkness
my choice
my vision
mine
and then yours
i feed myself
i feed you
you offer back
we choose to feed light
we build our path
our mind
our choice
ours

Each moment we decide. Yes.
I choose light over darkness
but sometimes there are those
who have no choices.

The children couldn't outrun
the bullets.

I light candles and pray
that they have peace.
The babies were massacred.
This is a nightmare world.

Words of comfort, from the Bible, to get relief from this nightmare before the holidays:
Isaiah 41:10

New International Version (NIV)

10 So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Psalm 51:10 Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

Jeremiah 24:7 I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the LORD. They will be my people, and I will be their God, for they will return to me with all their heart.

Ezekiel 11:19 I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh.

Ezekiel 18:31 Rid yourselves of all the offenses you have committed, and get a new heart and a new spirit.

Let's sing a psalm
for children gone,
their spirits risen to be one
with conscious God,
so wise, full love,
above — all knowing
why this was done.

dark for light
art in the dark
there was no light in the deepest recesses of Altamira
what drew us into the darkness to create our art?

beats me
I likes the dark
I likes the sunshine too
I would get pretty bored if all I had was one or the other

mourning the mother and the son

darkness peels away
slow stumble into dawn
hints of night melt into whispers of day

i stride this moment
i trust my senses
i live

another gift to accept
eyes open to welcome what is
one lone crow, one braying donkey
earth still rolls

Merry Christmas!

I love you all!

little children are mostly light for us,
when ten or more years passes
sometimes we´ll need more imagination
or more meditation ourselves...
(hey, they can´t do our job forever!)
they are light reminders
that keep coming in this world
making it possible

the murdered children ...
I´m sure they are OK
(if it´s possible to talk in these terms)
but their families ...
I hope they are reciving enough support

feliz navidad, e-dog!!!!!! :D

endless chasm
where love once flourished
how large the pain?

fill it, find a way
stuff that empty stocking
offer boundless empathy

Post Factum
Like the Theory of Evolution?

survival jam
the survival of the fittest
and the unfitt join the NRA
"NRA President Wayne LaPierre in Speech, made the claim that "monsters" walk amoung us, possessed by demons."
Natural selection has selected us for our capacity to survive and kill.
I don't know why the instinct gets so twisted
I only know what I can recognize in myself

"Human behavior is over determined"
Some say the fault lies not in our stars but in our genome
Seeking Answers in Genome of Gunman
http://www.nytimes.com/2012/12/25/scien ... .html?_r=0
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Not a parent so I can only imagine the nightmare of a murdered child
that's when I think we need religion or something like it
to make it through the night

.
The children are alright
The survivors are not
I wish I had some comfort for them
All I got is empathy for the survivors and
compassion for a weird kid who could not feel physical pain
There go I but for a simple twist of DNA.

it is a wonderful life
but did I choose to be alive
to be born into this world
who do I think I am?

first the big bang
the sperm penetrates the egg
the molecular dice begin to tumble
nine months later i leave the darkness
and come into the light and
I begin to make choices

I choose to jam
Merry Christmas
I love you all too

I used to be smart.
