Thanks for being a friend of Clay's Mr Troll. Clay is the oldest friend I got on this world wide web. All goes back to litkicks, he never kicked me when I was down, neither did Doreen.
Maybe they should have but they never did.

Clay has gained 7 lbs., is hardly needing his oxygen tube, and walks a brisk pace pushing his wheelchair ahead of him. I'm a fast walker, and I was keeping up with him, rather than the other way around.

Thanks to everybody for the good thoughts. They mean a great deal to me and give me the strength to keep going.
Jack, I got your Paypal message. Thank you so much. I really comes in handy when there is nothing coming in. The same day that you sent that around the first of the year is when I went to the hospital. I had to go by ambulance because I couldn't make it to the car. That pneumonia very nearly took me down.
But I keep getting a little stronger every day. They kicked me out of the assisted care home where I was staying because they thought I was smoking. Imagine that!….grin. So, I moved to another place called The Renaissance. It seems a little more friendly. They assure me that my morphine is on its way.
I'm thinking about writing an article about being institutionalized. It will contrast public school, prison, hospitals and care centers and old-folks homes. I auditioned a number of these places when looking for a place to continue my recovery. The nursing home business has changed a lot since I used to go and visit my grandmother in one.
Thanks again to you all for your thoughts and prayers. Thanks to Mr. Troll for keeping my picture out there and letting everybody else know what's going on with me. He's been a great friend and he brings me medicinal confections to help me ease my stay in stir.
I'll try to write more as I get stronger.
