We can use items for the silent auction and door prizes, for sure.

Clay is doing pretty well. He started radiation therapy this week. I didn't get by to see him last weekend, but I will this weekend for sure.

As much as I would like to meet Clay in person I think I will save the money it would take to make the trip and send it it by mail if I can't send it by the paypal link.

Sorry I can't read the info on FaceBook because
You must log in to see this page.

I do not know this man, but have read some of his words. He is of this fire, a fine group of artists and hopefully will either mend-up or will journey well to a good place.

Visited with Lrod today.

He's gained a little weight, he's getting stronger, but the heat is kicking his ass right now if he goes outside during the day. They've made the target mask for his radiation. The actual treatment begins next week.

He's hoping to come out to his band's gig Saturday night and play a little. I'm opening that show. One of their guitar players passed away yesterday morning, so they are all feeling a little off-balance.

There is a possibility that later on down the road they can close the tracheotomy, which may allow him to play flute again. It's too early to know for sure.

You were in one of my dreams a couple of nights ago.

It almost rained today,

take care Clay

mistertroll I got no idea what is going to happen after August 3rd, I maybe getting an IOU instead of a retirement check. I was hoping to buy a book from Clay at the auction. If not I got and old but functional lap top computer I could send as an item to be auctioned.

I'm in Dallas and just attended the Benefit Concert to Save the Poet's Eyes yesterday at Poor David's Pub.

It was AWESOME!!!

Mr. Troll is a total professional musician/songwriter & host and he did a fabulous job of putting together 9 hours of music from some of the most accomplished, talented Dallas musicians I've ever had the honor to hear perform.... I was blown away by the whole show and honored to be here!

Troll, you are one talented musician and it was an honor to meet you and finally hear you play in concert!

It was great to meet Beth Isbel and Annie Benjamin and the Cliff Blues Band and all the rest, too, and hear them play and what a joy to see Clay playing piano keyboard with the Cliff band! OMG so much talent! The room was FILLED with so many talented musicians!

I'm here in a hotel room with Lightning Rod. He's writing on his erasable board since he can't speak. Here's what he wants to tell you all:

"Tell them I'm the happiest man in the world right now because I'm with you. And tell Troll thanks for being such a great friend and putting this show together for me! I was moved by the entire experience. Thank you!"
