This cut was recorded at Goodnight Studio in Dallas, TX on the same day as Where Did Garbo Go?

Clay, Wanda and I were sitting around one evening playing at ideas. Cruisin' was born from this sitting. I remember Clay telling Wanda he was going to steal some of her ideas and melody and telling me to, "find the chords find the chords!" and I did.

I wasn't happy with the tune for awhile. I thought it needed a breakup point to show the urban feel of the drive-in experience. I added the semi-cacophonousness in the studio and taught it to Hank and Zeke on the spot. Wanda grabbed onto the concept immediately. Clay walked over and kissed me.
