Bucket List

Post by Lightning Rod » December 28th, 2012, 3:30 pm

This is the hand of an abscure new poet who is so dead that he hadn't been born yet much to his dismay
but he's working on it, so that should give you a clue
he's working on his own immortality, his sex is clueless and his death is only pecked out on a scareb's back looking for a tap-dance
to intercity or a bald or tortured braelic onomonoic still being born and looking for itself amongst Mailers scattered and 'scored so clear but coulnt be found hiding lurking to find itself and wondering which one of the damned 'pachees will pick'm off 'fore the damned
trapped-door throws his lizzerd's tounge and etches a score clarion but that don't matter from this side just from this side just from this side where you can where they are stoic and just as mean and full of pudding as all their impostors danced from whichever side if the mirror's not clean as it should be and just a bit too cracked as it would be if any other
"These words don't make me a poet, these Eyes make me a poet."

Powerful poem.

his sex is clueless
and his death
is only pecked out
on a scareb's back
looking for a tap-dance
to intercity...

Love these lines.

abscure braelic onomonoic :D 8)

camera obscura
through a glass darkly
in a dark time the eye begins to
touch typing
stream of being
let the good times roll
dr feelgood's medicine show

thanky, you for writing
I enjoyed reading it very much.

Thanks, L-Rod, for this piece 8) , which might be your parting shot...from what I hear. :(
That line about the scarab beetle was a great one. Your "Poet's Eye" was always good.
Take care, & I am proud to know you... :)

my bucket list included meeting you in person one day.

I don't know if we can make it. I will miss your tolerant friendship.

In the meantime I think about old gospel songs and The Idiot, in Nietzsche, amor fati, and eternal return and life ever after on the other side with fity miles of elbow room for me and you.

Stoic as a Buddha on his throne
as compassionate as the Patron Saint of Hell
