LORD, HELP ME WIN THE LOTTO
By Steve Plonk

Oh Lordy, won't ya buy me a VW Passat.
I have an old Saturn, I really love a lot.
But I believe it's past its time & is shot.

Saturn's tripped, & its ripped, & tattered & torn,
My old Saturn has paint chipped & worn,
Oh readers I hope you'll forgive all this corn...

Looking forward to winning the lotto any day now,
It t'would buy me a new car, a house & more chow,
I'm looking forward to writing in my artlog right now...

My artlog is called the Flying Horse Cafe,
I have plenty more material coming your way,
Thanks for reading, hope you've come here to stay...

mecedes benz-- baby- i saw a rich kid with one the other day- made me feel high looking at it
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

Two weeks ago, we got back from a vacation in both San Francisco, CA; & Harrisburg, PA; with a week of rest in between. San Francisco was a five hour plane ride from Atlanta, GA; both ways. We drove to Harrisburg, PA & it is a two day ride from here. We spent a week in each place.

It was great to get away from the Southeast & spend some time with family & friends. 8) :D

One song we heard over the radio--which was a hit back in the day--in California was: "She has funny cars" from Jefferson Airplane's "Surrealistic Pillow" (1967). I couldn't get out of my head...So I name it the "theme song" for our Frisco trip. :)

In Pennsylvania, we heard "Take me home, Country Roads", by John Denver, which was another song I couldn't get out of my head. So I name it the "theme song" for our Pennsylvania trip. :)

If you aren't familiar with these two songs, google them on You Tube. They are awesome &
bring out our feelings at the time. Maybe some poems will follow, as time permits.
Hope everyone's Thanksgiving is great & may the Lord bless you & keep you. :) 8)

Hey, everybody,Steve Plonk, here. I now have a compilation of poetry that has come out called: STRAWBERRY MOSS, which uses my given name as author: John G. Willis, AKA Steve Plonk. The publisher is Newman Springs Publishing, 320 Broad St., Red Bank, NJ 07701. My poetry compilation will soon be on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and hopefully, Second and Charles retailers. It has 134 pages, not counting About the Author (last page). 8)

The ISBN number for the book is 978-1-63881-736-9 for the paperback, and 978-1-63881-737-6 for the Digital e-book. It retails in paperback for $15.95. It is copyrighted originally in 1986 and this year, 2022. It is the first edition ever. Hope everybody will check it out and/or buy it. Soon articles will undoubtedly come out about the compilation in a week or two, etc. :D I think the e-book is approximately $9.95. Query the publisher to get more information. Thanks. :D
