FLYING HORSE CAFE: ANNOUNCEMENTS & INTRODUCTION
This introduction will welcome readers to my artlog, FLYING HORSE CAFE.
I will post poetry & penny haiku here as well as maxims, funny thoughts, possible photos etc.
Thanks to Doreen Peri for making this artlog possible.
The majority of my poetry has been moved from my Column, "Life in the Horse Lane" to
my new Artlog home for it, "Flying Horse Cafe". Readers, you are welcome to read the Archives--ie., the locked threads. My Artlog is ready for posts as of August 14, 2013.
WELCOME READERS TO STUDIO 8's NEWEST ARTLOG. LET THE FLIGHT COUNTDOWN
COMMENCE.

One of my favorite proverbial sayings:
See photo tutorial, for more facts & legends about Davy Crockett.
As Davy Crockett said to Congress: "Follow me to Tennessee..."A Persian Proverb:
“He who knows not and knows not that he knows not is a fool—shun him. He who knows not and knows that he knows not is a child—teach him. He who knows and knows not that he knows is asleep—wake him. He who knows and knows that he knows is wise—follow him.”

Herein are the lyrics to "Stewball" my mascot for this Artlog & my Flying Horse.

STEWBALL, THE RACEHORSE
as sung by Peter, Paul & Mary
Oh Stewball was a racehorse, and I wish he were mine.
He never drank water, he always drank wine.
His bridle was silver, his mane it was gold.
And the worth of his saddle has never been told.
Oh the fairgrounds were crowded, and Stewball was there
But the betting was heavy on the bay and the mare.
And a-way up yonder, ahead of them all,
Came a-prancin' and a-dancin' my noble Stewball.
I bet on the grey mare, I bet on the bay
If I'd have bet on ol' Stewball, I'd be a free man today.
Oh the hoot owl, she hollers, and the turtle dove moans.
I'm a poor boy in trouble, I'm a long way from home.
Oh Stewball was a racehorse, and I wish he were mine.
He never drank water,he always drank wine.

Re: Where am I hiding?
Sorry, folks, I will not be able to post very often, in the next few weeks.
I am having "hard drive" problems with my computer.
Hopefully, in a few weeks, my computer will be repaired.
Thanks for your readership. Hope to see you again soon.

reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

Re: FLYING HORSE CAFE: ANNOUNCEMENTS & INTRODUCTION
I got some of the bugs worked out in May. I WAS unable to post for a time. However, I forgot to update this announcement after my last pet died. Creative Soul, thanks for stopping by.
A tease? Really? Yes, I really DID have technical problems!

All is well, it's nice to see you.
If I had a choice I'd buy a VW bug for sure, an automatic though.
What would you pick up?

`Do you know, I was so angry, Kitty,' Alice went on...`when I saw all the mischief you had been doing, I was very nearly opening the window, and putting you out into the snow! And you'd have deserved it, you

A two toned red and white vw van- 2012 version but she still has those curves-
A winning lottery ticket and I would start a thing called " run away girls with artistic flare" why waste time
Really
I love coffee
But I am at the gym with the idea of slipping into the hot tub- in yesterday's wet suit- smuggling cat liter for my friend with a broken neck
My dog waits patiently for the " frisbee" philsophy to truly catch on....
