i think you should ask scooter that question
as far as I am concerned
move it up and I am out of here
the only reason I am using it is because it is off the beaten track
and nobody is reading it

I just need a place to deal with my writting compulsions
I come close to deleting my art log
I think I had a stroke or something
a mild one
but something is wrong with my brain
I am pretty sure I blew out part of it.
like something clicked in a Vonnegut novel.

still-t, you think you might have suffered a stroke?
do you feel some loss of function
or was there a blackout? can you tell us what happened?
& are you okay, now?

There was no pain. No headache. I was lying in bed when it happened. Just on the edge of sleep, there was a loud noise and flash of light, and a spasm through my legs. The noise and light were internal. Inside my head, I am sure of that. Sounded loud as a crack of lightning and as bright. But there was no storm, the sky was clear. No loss of function but something is different, a very subtle difference. As if my soul is gone.

It happened judih, maybe it was not a stroke, but I laid there with my eyes wide open and the first word that came into consciousness was, “stroke”.

I found the orange blossoms disc but still have not listened to it yet. Strange, so strange, I cannot articulate the reason why. I am thinking about my birthday greetings to anemone. Maybe it sounded over the top but it is true. I stand in awe of her being. Yours also. Thank you for your concern. I will write more about this later.

I'm sorry trucker. I should have paid closer attention to this sign instead allowing the dame to go on and on adding stress. Get better quick and no worries I'll stop, contain myself. Heal up.

sincerely,
sld

Jack, if you seriously think you may have had a stroke, please go to the doctor. Take care of you!

You are not stressing me mz dame. You are keeping me a lert. I need all the lerts I can get.

Sorry I have not got back to you on the Private Message yet. I am very slow about those things.

But RE: The Scent.

Thinking about a little girl that wanted to kick my ass one day about twenty years ago. I was in a truckstop kneeling down looking at some tapes on the bottom of a display case when she came over and started beating on me with her tiny fists. She could not have been more than two feet tall. But still she was hitting me with all the strength in her tiny body. I had to smile. Everyone else was laughing too. I guess she caught my scent.

I used to use this as an avatar for awhile I got it off a website called Heartless Bitches International.

I am going to ask my brother about it Doreen. He is a physician. He had a mild stroke last year. He is fine now, back on his 150 MPH motorcycle. I been looking up the symptoms and I don’t see anything like what happened to me. Maybe it was a TIA. But the word came drifting across my consciousness right after it happened “stroke” Maybe it was some sort of mystical experience. It did not happen recently so I think I am okay. But I don't know what has changed in me. I feel souless. Maybe I lost some higher brain function. A very s ubtle difference it has taken me time to notice. Kind of like a lobotomy maybe. Hard to describe.
Thanks for your concern.

It's all good.
Heartless Bitches International.
OMG! lol! guilty. But, I'm not bitter, just over zealous? Damn dame's sassy attitude and embellishments cause me trouble. I'm sweet, gentle, endearing...I am. Anyway, I didn't answer 'yes' to every question.

Good image there. Reminds me of my little sister, she was a young red headed brute.

Sleep.

I talked to my brother Doreen. He is a psychiatrist. A doctor who still practices the "art" of medicine.

I wrote:

He thought it was a hypnogogic hallucination.
Hypnagogic hallucination is episodes of seeing and hearing things as one is falling asleep. These dreams can be frightening and can often cause a sudden jerk and arousal just before sleep onset. For example, you may see yourself falling and awaken with a sudden jerk, just before impact. As the subject drifts off to sleep, he/she moves into a state that

combines the environment, of which the subject is still partially aware, with a dream-like state of sleep, in which he might see people and hear them talking. The experiences are often frightening. Sleep deprivation, irregular sleep schedules, and medications all can predispose to occurrences of this phenomenon.
