“You’re not too smart, are you? I like that in a man.”

I thought that was a hell of a movie. I read an op-ed piece by Maureen Dowd today that used a line from the movie.

The article was about the rug in Obama's oval office. It was titled
Not-So-Magic Carpet Ride
Obama has inspirational messages woven into the border of the rug.
There should be a special message for John Boehner, the Republican leader who has been strutting around as the Speaker-in-Waiting and who led the Republicans on Tuesday in their inane effort to deny Obama credit for anything by spending the day reminding people that it was W.’s war. The president should emblazon Kathleen Turner’s line from “Body Heat”: “You’re not too smart, are you? I like that in a man.”

I gotta watch that, had never even heard of the movie before, but looks like a classic.

Film Noir, a classic femme fatale. Kathleen Turner was brilliant in it.
sex and identity

The architecture of fantasy is sex. And the femme fatale is the architect.

And Maureen Dowd has a wicked sense of humor. 8)
I like that in a woman. :P :)
