I downloaded and downloaded

I waited and waited

And just when I thought

I'd reached the crescendo

of possible climax, er, I mean download

the damn thing disconnected me.



I have yet to be able to listen to you singing or playing Doreen, or LRod either.

I hope to be getting highspeed one of these days and then maybe I'll be able to give a listen.

Damn and double damn damn I wanted to hear this.

I will be trying again tho, if I succeed I'll be back.....

Oh man! I'm sorry you took all that time and it didn't work out, mousey1..... Thank you so much for trying.

The file is 3.7 megabytes, I think... or 3.9 or something like that. On a cable connection, it comes in lickety-split. On my dial-up 56K, I have to wait about 10 minutes for a file that large to come in .... I just click and go do something else, then come back to my computer. I can't stand to sit and wait, so I do understand.

What connection do you have? 56K? 28K?

At 28K, it would probably take forever and sure isn't worth the wait.....

I'll tell you what it is... I screamed into the microphone... heh... OUCH! to eardrums, for sure! ..... then I sang a couple of lines starting with "I always wanted to live in the wilderness" like a folk song ... and used that as a chorus, spoke the rest of it and changed it some improvising as I went along.

But I stumbled over a few words, only recorded it once, added no music .... so it would really have been like you sitting here in my living room and listening to me have fun with vocalizing this thing. No great performance, that's for sure. You haven't missed much.

Again, sorry you waited so long and it disconnected on you! I hate to waste anybody's time!

It wasn't a waste of time...

It was a disappointment!

I usually come in around 42.7 - 45 k.

If I hadn't been disconnected I'd've had you...I was this close(holding up mousey digits here)
