Intelligent design?

Post by stilltrucking » August 30th, 2005, 3:04 pm

I am pretty much a city boy but one summer I had a job at a feed mill. One of the old farmers used the expression “that is about as useful as tits on a boar hog." I been trying to figure out why I have nipples?

I read the Opus comic strip today, he cracks me up.

you know how we were made to be like the likeness of god, so the bible says....well....maybe god wondered the same thing, but went ahead and did it anyway?

dam too late, you are every where kid, I was going to change tits to teats. I just like Opus a lot. Do you read the Sunday comics? I can't make it without them. I think the whole ball of wax is god, me you this computer, my a half cup of cup of cold coffee sitting at my elbow, an ash tray full of cigarette butts, not saying much I know. But that is how it seems to me.

only thing I need to do for tomorrow is get some sleep. I still disagree with you about anger. Doreen is right about sublimating it to art. I can't think of any thing that i did out of anger the was not stupid. I can't think of anything that I ever said in anger that was helpfull.
imho

good night

of course there is righteous anger
when one must speak truth to power
but i don't think you were speaking of that
do you think any of MLK's speaches were said in anger?
Did Ghandi get angry?
I am no saint.

Anohter angry hero Malcolm. Another angry hero Sylvia Plath, makes you wonder about what Doreen said about working your anger off by writing poetry. It does me. Poetry is a blood sport it seems.
