Jesus walked on the water
He trudged all over this world

Across the Atlantic and Pacific

Down the Mediterranean up to Baltimore
He said to me you don’t got to be anywhere
Live where you want
There is no one holy land
Just a accident of the birth
A random juxtaposition of time and space
So I found a home that suited me well
It was the highway to paradise
Never getting there just coming and going from it
Times change people too
Now I got 102 keys instead of 18 wheels

Preacher wants me to send a donation
I think that preacher man wanta do a little walking to
Tell me to haul myself to Israel cause dis is the end times
And to balance da book we all got to be there at the end

But some little green men from mars told me I could change my chromosomes so I don’t have to be special anymore. But I still would have to honor my mother and father and those they have gone before.
A Jew without Jews, without Judaism, without Zionism, without Jewishness, without a temple or an army or even a pistol, a Jew clearly without a home, just the object itself, like a glass or an apple.
