keyboard in hand
facing several different futures
that all end the same
and that's the happy news ...
the sad news is the flower guy
is gone from the side of the road
- disappears when the snow comes
comes back in the spring
one of these years he won't come back
& who will sell me flowers then?
wondering such things -
the new year is now three hours old
& it's not going to stop
neither, I think, am i
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

eternal now
dialoguing with spleen, blues, saudade & malinconia
the tango-rave soften its decibeles
midday´s shades & buzz

Best laid plans
My place a madhouse
Sounds like a junior high
school cafeteria?...ugh!

Best laid plans
My dates late
I hate to wait

Back up to the wire
World can wait
Jam is there always
Perpetual

Best laid plans
"Free your mind,
& the rest will follow."
2014 jammin
With cyber friends

Feel I know u so well
Across the cyber waves
A different kind of knowing
Polite but honest
Encouraging, yet entertaining

Bluest of blues
All shades
Sky blue high
Bluest ocean deep
Jam on me!
me I feel like I'm becoming some kinda Kung fu t.v. Priest.....

Sucker punched
first day of the year.

It's a brand new year and a brand new day and whatever that means,I don't know, but all I have to say is maybe it's time to forget trying to figure it out and just let it happen because there's really nothing different from one date to another. It's just another day. *shrug* No literary content here, I'm sorry.I wish you all the best in the upcoming year. I don't know how much longer I can go on. I'm trying to write a song in my head....should sit down at the keyboard. I'm isolated, unrelated, discombobulated (and I've never used that word before but it rhymed). Keep your chin up and your shoulders back. Work on your posture. Touch your toes with your back straight then reach up to the sky in gratitude! Guard your purse. But know it could be worse.

East coast raga
Have a ball
Ear candy
There's so much here
I'm talking bout everywhere
It's in the air
Inevitable
Eat your vegetables
Clean your plate
There's children starving in china
Dinah is there anything finer
Than to be in Carolina
Tough times
Toughen ruffs and tuffy
Duke ing it out
Duke duke duke of earl
Nothin can stop him
Rambling on my mind
Blues style
Beans and rice down to
Bacon on the side
Cornbread
Now your talkin
Tom wants hash browns over easy
I want burgers and apple pie
Yes with raisins....sheeeeezzzzzz
Jammin....free thine mind
The rest will happen
Flow baby flow.......and JAM!!!
me I feel like I'm becoming some kinda Kung fu t.v. Priest.....

i don't know if
there will be
pie-in-the-sky or not
but i do know, having been given belief
that there will be a Kingdom
a Kingdom such as man cannot conceive
& into my grave will come a Voice
the Voice of my King
because He proved that death could not hold Him
He promised it would not hold me
as He said to Lazarus He will say to me -
"unwrap the gravecloths from him
and let him go"
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

I know
what I think I know
still I wonder
what do the dead know?

Feeling I am dead
and waiting for what is next
that is what it is like
without love

So I seek love
that is what brings me here
to studio eight
where I can be honest with myself

to remind myself
I am still a thing called alive
a fool and hopeless romantic
a manic semantic

Yes there is nothing else left for me
but these words and
an eternity of now
the kingdom of heaven
I know is among us
so is hell

I like to think I have a choice
and it is my own god dam fault
oh lordy
make me an angel ...
a poster of an old rodeo...
give me one thing to believe in...

angel from Montgomery

sittin' here listenin' to the wind
thinkin of friends gone in 2013
I wish we had got the chance to meet
I should have took you up on that cup coffee
blessed be your memory

something to drown out a cold bluster of winter wind

difficult to think in terms of "dead"
when it´s about someone you love
(despite she or he is officially dead)
our studio eight friends gone with the wind
can return with the rain
free & lively as ever
counter-vision
our ongoing dramas
(what they know is still their secret)

pies in heaven?
like the tarot´s hanged man?
like an upside down map?

well, why not?
better not to have too much in the stomach for that ...

Dangling piece of rawhide man
Head em up move em out
Death
Inevitable
No hiding place
Start from there
= acceptance
That's the Francis Scott key
In this here land of
O say can u see?
Having one simple philosophy
makes life so easy
Drink plenty of screwdrivers
Plain and simple

the flash of a challenge
en garde!
into the fray
fearless and smiling
a bizarre thought
dashes aimlessly
red paint in the sky

Reflections in a jeep waiting
Mirrors & lights fluorescent
Snow n ice waiting
All of a sudden everything........stops
@ Beallesville the freeze is on
Ice age has come
What once was warm
Now barren, waiting
Back at the cafe
The sounds send me to amazon
The Donkeys and The New Mastersounds
Raga Rock indie bliss
The genre exploding
Me sticking by my raga ways
A lingering sound that grows on u
A space that is the place
