the tonsorial circularity of monasterial coiffure

Post by constantine » June 14th, 2008, 11:29 am

what will it be this time old boy
the circus or the monastery
hmm... let's not be hasty
this could be portentous, maybe even psoriasis
the heartbreak of portentous psoriasis
don't scratch it and
endeavor to choose wisely my son
yes, the red rubber nose speaks for itself
indeed, boinking an acrobat or a contortionist
is nothing to sneeze at
especially when wearing a rubber nose
beep beep
on the other hand
the tonsorial circularity of monasterial coiffure
has offered me much to ponder
in those quiet moments of strictly enforced
and constantly surveilled celibacy
some are celibate at birth
some have achieved celibacy
some have celibacy thrust upon them
ahh, shakespeare...
maybe i could be ringmaster
of a three ring celibate circus
or a monk who swings through the prayer
with the greatest of ease
nothing is impossible in this world or the next
just ask yourself faithful indian companion
what would tonto do,
when you come to the fork in the road
ask for a spoon

I think it will be Bolivia this time, Sundance
where they drink with their llamas
and the tonsures are accomplished
with .45's

they don't allow celibates in the country
but in the Andes foothills there are tribes
where they ask no questions of clowns
and tolerate monks
if they use the tarzan vines
and don't chant after bedtime

my celibacy is on video tape
boinking the imaginary acrobat
but it won't hurt me at the trial
they'll shoot me out of the cannon
"These words don't make me a poet, these Eyes make me a poet."

The Poet's Eye

"when you come to the fork in the road
ask for a spoon"

as Led Zeppelin always said," Ramble On"....dut da dut dut da dut dut.
I agree with the Why'r Man, a hip banter that trails in many directions..We may have a copyright problem dino, since I just released a new old wave punkadellic CD, titled, "Tonsorial Circularity
Monasterial Coiffure" by of course, myself...Blind Wet Slim Willy...
Have your people call my people so we can work out a settlement...
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

lucky for you guys that i shelved my latest chapbook, "Tonsorial Circularity Monasterial Coiffure Gone Radical" or we'd be having a 3-way.

Fabulous piece, constantine. Keep those hairstyles spiralling.
