sink

the black putrescence
even the mother rejects you
you have gone too far

she has a mind of her own
and speaks
the language of the gods
you thought them dead
but they were sitting right next to you
all the time, all the time

you are living under a false assumption
all your plans are suspect
you have sculpted a mountain
and created a desert
an effrontery to the inanimate

gravity weary, impatient
molten iron churns beneath your feet

raw emotion laid down in introspective evaluation of one's soul....
regrets, choices, fate...what have you....the components that make us who we are, forever scrutinized by family and friends, and the harshest critic of all...our self.........nice work, dino.........
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

yes, my feet to the fire..

the mountains are becoming deserts; it's only natural after all.

"someone else's days" as regina spector would say...and yet, in this alien form we are more us. why do we care so much what others think of us? giving them power to make us feel "wrong". in essence we are polar...good and bad...light and dark. now if only we can stop trying to be just one. maybe if we accept all of ourselves without shame, we could live with more ease...again...perspective...sorry, i'm all over the place today. maybe the anesthetic hasn't worn off yet. heh

good work here constantine
