anybody's guess

let's talk for a while -
take advantage of this unlikely situation
normally, under the usual circumstances
things would get in the way
maybe the color of my eyes or a tattoo
personal hygiene issues - territorial considerations
perhaps an idiosyncrasy
a nervous tic or mannerism
like scratching your balls when the phone rings
anybody's guess
what I admire about you is your anonymity
no judgment in your eyes
no body language to decipher
no introductions necessary
a clean slate - tabula rasa
until we meet...

OMG!
you scratch yer balls when the phone rings?
is that one of those automatic response things?
it's anybody's guess how these reactions evolve.
doggone it! damn that Pavlov!
what's to judge?
the girl's prolly got sludge in the brain.
hell, she may be totally insane!

tabula rasa rocks da casa!

....

cool poem, dino :)

what's the tattoo? no wait! don't tell me.

and then there's always:

The Poet's Dirty Socks

Are you READY to fall in love?
I mean are you READY?
you are not a silly young girl
at least not sillier than I require
how do you look when your hair is rolled up
and you're pulling the poet's socks from the dryer?
Cuz the poet's dirty socks

are just like any other dirty socks
and we have to go through:
do you snore or have the pox?
and who has keys and who has locks?
list your real estate, list your stocks
what was in that little black box?
and before we cum we're on the rocks
And I tell you it's all because of socks
Cuz the poet's dirty socks
are just like any other dirty socks

enjoyed both of your reply/poems. no, i do not scratch my balls when the phone rings - at least not anymore. the embarassment outweighed the satisfaction. i hate when that happens.

anybody's guess

& i wish i could relate.
i've been there, done that with anonymity.
now, i read a syllable and the brain pictures fly in. i can tell you about the shape of your ears and if you like the colour green.
i can see the size of your shoes and if you prefer laces or slip-ons.

would you wear crocs?
i need not ask - i know
yes, there's no hiding anymore
