if only i had an army of gorillas
and the typewriters to outfit them
they could pound away at them for a millenium
producing every poem that ever was
or perhaps ever will be, and
if you reduced them
(the poems, not the gorillas)
well hell, toss in the gorillas as well,
into a one inch cube
yeah...that would be something
that would show her
then she'd come crawling back...

how many angel gorillas would it take to inscribe google on the head of a pin?
I've always loved this idea:
if you take an infinite number of monkeys and an infinite number of typewriters and put them in a room, eventually you will come up with War and Peace.

i too have found the concept appealing, but am not sure why. i love those crazy ass gorillas.
