bloodworm

with every line
the poet reveals his true nature
voyeur feasting on entrails
a vampyre twice removed
incapable, the symbiosis parasitica
a bloodworm
no more, no less
watch, as he drains -
pathetic barter
glib banter
ten pints, sold!
to the highest bidder
going... going...
tapped

drip drip drip
this is bloody good poetry, dinoccho
I think you hit an artery
(i won't call you dinoccho if it makes me sound like your grandmother. I'm too young to be a grandmother.

.. heh... just got that from your artlog intro and thought it sounded cool)

Poetry as a blood sport
she did it so well.
The blood jet is poetry and there is no stopping it.
Plath
are women better at blood sports
I have read about her fatal biology
and what that may have contributed to her death
she has been more consolation to me than Nietzsche
got me through some hard nights
and you been helping me with my days.
great poem dino
sorry about my glib banter

I barely scratched the surface of Daddy
I get tired sometimes when I talk about The Bell Jar, and people tell me to read Girl Interupted. I don't know why.
She was intelligent, and oh so ambitious, not only for herself but for her husband.
Man I never been married Dino so I can't speak much to it, but I learned a new word today
Kamikazewedlock
I will take your word
and not keep appologizing for my rambles
good night dino

bloodworm
this bit
with every line
the poet reveals his true nature
the extistential striptease
i been thinking about that for years
something I think I am doing here.
btw I googled the word and found a hit
for poetry in baltimore
Kamikazewedlock not a bad description of the marriage of Hughes and Plath. A Greek tragedy with Hughes as Agememnon

I read too fast
what the hell is my hurry
I carried a book around so many years it disintegrated
The Humor of Christ
His humor ironic to the max.

Jack
it's not a real word. He made it up.
but you knew that, right?
sure ya did.
.....
I liked this
a vampyre twice removed
sounds like a distant cousin ...
a blood sucking distant cousin after the estate
i never knew what "second cousin twice removed" meant until my second cousin twice removed explained it to me at a family wedding a couple of years ago
i've since forgotten but believe me, it makes perfect sense

Yes, but I almost googled it before i seperated the words.

(I wonder if I used the right emoticon.) God I hate emoticons, such a chick thing
A very neat poem Dino
you are certainly not one for
glib banter
something I am too good at
A natural born huckster.
