the sun it rises everyday
it goes its way, it never stays
and then the moon comes out to play

my heart, he's beating faster all the time
he swears he's growing younger, it's the damnedest thing
i watch the women come and go, the hips they sway
i watch them saunter on their way, everyday
and like a dream, they fade away

and though i know,
you think you've seen it all
from fall to spring and spring to fall
you've seen it all, and all it brings
a hundred thousand different things
the corner turns, and there she is!
