Actually he is not in pain- he seemed to carry the heart of the people- seems like he is filled with light- and I sense
He is ok- but maybe he didn't even know what was happening- like in the movies- because - it is somehow really hard to accept- really mr poet- like a muse-
The disappearing act
Top hat and magic show
Maybe all I will ever know
Taking it slow
Going to deliver strawberries- I know you don't have anything else to do today
Your new form shining thru
You should come with me
Check it out
Minions of strawberries glistening in the morning light
Even you
Cannot resist such beauty
The nature of life
Peaceful journey mr poet
You know it!
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

seems absurd to think
its a beautiful day for a funeral
but how could thunder and lightning and rain
make things any better
the sky was vibrant azure
the sun was warm but not too hot
a crisp breeze blew over the hilltop
all omens of life beyond the decrepit body

you cannot kill a spirit
you cannot harness it to a plow like oxen
a spirit is pure energy
you can't bottle or can it
you can't freeze dry it, put it in the pantry
you sure as hell can't bury in a hole
cover it up with dirt
so fly away mr. poet, we will do our part
to keep your spirit alive

soar onward mr. poet like a great seabird
along the coast of our imaginations
with a wingspan as big as immortality
catch the cosmic wind, hang ten at the moon
glide effortlessly on the uplifting current
you are free at last from any worry
free at last from the locked birdcage of skeleton and muscle

do me a favor, give lightning rod a high five

mr. poet isn't gone...word has it, he's merely in a time warp

"Come on up to Coney Island,
the meat is hot,
chili is famous,
buy one for her,
one for the girl
and I'll eat what I can

and you bet, I'll be watching
watching those lush lips curl,
snarl at that dog. Woof!
Nothing but at hot stuff,
I tell ya galore.
I want fine women at five
in Coney Island.
Mmm, I'm my hungriest right about now.
You coming?"

I will miss you.
`Do you know, I was so angry, Kitty,' Alice went on...`when I saw all the mischief you had been doing, I was very nearly opening the window, and putting you out into the snow! And you'd have deserved it, you
little mischievous darling!
