and let me tell you another thing
the chutzpah of their oomposity
will stifle the yawn of my last breath
with the endless top heavy mishmash
of their mealy-mouth mumbo jumbo
it doth offend me
the viscous generosity, by which
the blather is slathered
with arms akimbo
as if it were matter of fact
sanctum sanctorum
roly poly holy!
watch as the muckalucks do the hucklebuck
and all the twiddling dilittantes, twaddle
lengthways, into some humdrum hunky-dory
where everyone knows everything
and the moon rises with a thud...
i sink into the hoopla - the boondoggle stench
without regrets,
without even a whiff

ok!

this might pose translation difficulties, arcadia. it was an exercise in the first - and last - poetry class of my scholastic career. we were given a list of unusual words and had to make a poem out of them. oomposity was my creation.
