red harvest

it's like soup
heavy stuff sinks to the bottom
but when you stir the pot
it rises to the surface
then you see what it's all about
then you can figure things out
maybe play one side against the other
plant the seed of doubt and discontent
people are greedy, they get ideas
a nudge this way or that
and all hell breaks loose
people start disappearing
or are found in compromising positions
but that's only the beginning
you got to keep at it
you got to keep stirring
turn up the heat
till no one trusts anybody
and they start rolling on each other
like a pinball hitting the bumpers
until the last ball drops in the hole
and the game is over

to start a poem with a soup and end it with a pinball... where´s the control remoto??? :lol: very visual & dizzy, gracias!!! :)

it's like shining a light on something crawling up your leg in the dark. i like these lines for personal reasons.

i once wrote a poem about shaking a bottle with people inside and observing what happens after that. kinda like this one. enjoyed, constantine.
