i remember my mom asking me

i proceeded to list my specifications
the kind that doesn't care about money
who is artistically inclined
intelligent, but not aggressively so
unorthodox (that got her going)

i didn't mean unorthodox in the religious sense
you never go to church, dinoccho

i know, mom
but i've been reading about it
you're always reading about it
you and your books
you won't find a woman in a book
besides, no such woman exists
i don't know, mom
got to be one somewhere
you've always had weird ideas, dino
i couldn't argue with that
