in his cell every night

Post by constantine » February 7th, 2010, 1:12 pm

i see the world in silhouette
in silent animation,
don't have to hear you
to know you're there
i want to be in your arms
to feel your lips, your thighs
talk to me, again
sing to me, scold me
i lie between the sheets
i type and i type and i type
things would be different
today i am a better man, stronger
than i was before, i see things clearer
my failings, my weaknesses
of which there are many
the walls are thick, cold
bars that never rust

Nice, you have some healing going on there!
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

I craved you with a passion I had never felt before. I never loved like that before
fire turned to ash
I had to draw a line in the sand
my love died
I had to put an ocean between us
prision socialized you
and I had to leave
divorse and tears
and black and bluemarks on my body
wheezing, broken sleep
I only wish I had seen it coming
would I have sooner?

I can relate to every word you wrote there. Damn shame you gotta lose so much to finally shape up. But that's been the story of my life.
