a sonneteer is a rhymester
not that there's anything wrong with rhymesters
some of my best friends are rhymesters
but i wouldn't want one living upstairs
with their feet tapping out
dactyls and trochees
anapests from budapest
quatrains, cinquains - even migraines
pacing, back and forth
sweating in rhyme and rhythm
like they were tied to the stake
in some torquemada hell hole of the poetry inquisition
i don't envy them for their efforts - i pity them!

(specially if they wear clogs - like a certain iambic who lived up on the 3rd floor)
