i've been known to do so - ever since i was a child
many were the times when i would become emotionally distraught
over some imagined slight or some such trifle
but, i swear to you, this is a different matter altogether
at least then i knew who was responsible -
i knew the face of my persecutor
but this - this is quite a different bag of fish
a kettle of a different colour and persuasion
i'm keeping a list from now on
and i'll check it next time someone drops me
then you shall wish you had remained my friend
then you will be sorry

FB is weird. It's friend counting mechanism is flawed. Some days I have a certain number of friends, then I refresh the page and it looks like I have 2 less. Then it looks like I have 2 more. The friend count doesn't work right. I asked someone else about it, too, and they said the same thing happens to them. Most likely, nobody dumped you. The FB friend counter is simply flawed. They have a bug, a software glitch.
