the diminutive kiwi
whatever will be
will be
the future is que sera
you see
as long as the wind blows
as long as the grass grows
as long kiwi nose knows
that she must be
born free
as free as the law allows
it don't matter much no how
as long as the grass grows
the future is kung pao
how now kiwi brown kow
bow wow wow wow now
as long as it's free

I like this whimsical poem...It reminds me of some of my "penny haiku" concerning other animals. Thanks for this, Constantine. A pastoral poem celebrating a great little animal --the kiwi... Keep sending these out to the net!
