feeling a little fatigued
guess i'll stretch out on the sofa
oh, that's right
i don't have a fucking sofa
i don't have nothing
i got a tv and a computer
and a desk with like a zillion
cigarette burns, and an ashtray
that's always in the wrong fucking place
i got three rooms, but i live in one room
and only in a portion of that room
i'm facing the computer
and the wall behind it
for hours on end
or i'm laying on the mattress
that lays on the floor
i occupy approximately
a six by ten by 4 ft rectangular prism
eighty percent of the time
the other twenty, i'm free
ranging through the other rooms
in regress or egress or maybe just
taking a dump or a shower
whatever seems appropriate under the circumstances
it's ok, but i think i can do better if i try harder

life -
you got what you got
you do what you do
everyday a new chance

could be worse
could be a refugee
seeking asylum

freedom to write
moments before capture
note in bottle

dino - thoughtwaves appear on your thread - canoe and paddle - lifebuoy afloat

ironically effort often has nothing to do with our current state of being, a reality that routinely gets swept under the carpet by the republican party that asserts that laziness is the only excuse for poverty and your station in life....I like the way you paint a stark picture that many share, even with maximum effort.....
