men at play

Post by constantine » May 1st, 2012, 10:36 am

going to hit the alleys
duckpins of the working-class,
the antithesis of the horsey set
with their bridle paths
and tally-ho bullshit,
hurling that ball - a comet
from the right hand of god
smashing the pins like the athenians
at marathon, crushing the persian line
it's a treasure trove of sensory input
and the people are funny too!
with their shirts and hand-towels
the accoutrements of aficianados
as they vent the anger of a lifetime,
of swing shifts and red-faced foremen
trotting on the treadmill
and never quite getting there,
if only the pins had faces
if only the horses could speak

aloha-welcome back- nice mood in this one... go for it---
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---
