he's at it again
him and his big ideas
he's a liar and he knows it
and he's not afraid to show it
so everybody clap your hands and sing
see what i mean - he's got nothing
absolutely nothing
dissolute - de functo profundis
forget about it why don't you
now he's going to do one of his riffs
he thinks he's sid caesar
but sid caesar he is not
he'll elaborate off some random nugget
lodged somewhere deep in his medusa oblongata
or some other sundry malapropism
that slip mahoney used to spiel out to the boys
hanging out at louie's soda fountain
sach, butch, whitey, and gabe
gabe was the smart guy, but
slip mahoney was the brains of the outfit
and sach, played by the inimitable huntz hall
would deal out the yucks
that's what i call chemistry
they would call it cooking with gas or helium
one or the other - it depends on the speaker
it's a speaker's choice type situation
we've all been there - we know how it is
really, i don't see why it's a big deal
it probably isn't, but i thought i'd bring it up anyway
you know, create some dialogue - communicate
if i can reach just one person, one
miserable iota - a mere fraction of a man
then it's one of those job well done dealies
that'll help when the chips are down

Ah, ya know, I never pick up any coin in my travels that I find has landed tail side up - no no no - you'll let all sort of spooks in you give in to the temptation presented there - but Dino, yours always land heads up, even it the dark - they go into my pockets no question asked and I spend them as freely as I found them. What a country we have where poverty of vision is put on a pedestal for all to adore and true riches go begging in the streets
