my steinway's onna byway
to the highway, packed onna back
of an amtrak!
If it gets there before me,
it'll have to be an automatic
fanatic, just like the other musicians
who bored me, before and later.
as for me? I'm playin' scales.

major and minors.
my electronic rig
don't even care
if a miss a note 'cause it
floats itself in keys
nobody ever hears or sees but me
as if i was dippin' in the peyote, bud,
but since i din't do that for years
i just keep lettin' the tears lead the way,
like beethoven in decay, decomposing

tomorrow, i hope there'll be a garden, dig?
adam and eve had one, why not us? let's live!
music is the viable relay of spirit... i hear it
when i sleep.

keep this under your easter hats, cool cats.
do NOT repeat it, 'cause people might think i'm
an off-the-cross-resurrected egg layer
and all i is, is a keyboard player

:D

Happens a lot.
Miss the days when our Jams
were damn hot spots!

I even went to FB and invited people individually, the old jammers from way back. Everybody who replied said they were too busy, except Charles (ibelieve), who kindly stopped by to make a post.

Thank you, Charles! xo
Enjoy your legal meds.
I should move to your state.

Where are the jammers?
Too busy with their devil lawns,
or whatever preposterous thing is next,
and do you remember when poets were rock stars?
When they once heckled and booed each other off the stage?

Well, now that seems a much, much different era.

like morrison
i dig music
with my words
i'll pay to have it too
most readings
you'll find me
hangin' out front
with the smokers (i dont smoke)
runnin' back inside
to announce the
next reader
fuckin with the
volume, sometimes
u just cant turn it
up loud enough
in a bar reading poetry
is a whole different animal
at least ifn u want em to listen
thats wild wireman time
i do know how to shut em up
after all these years
its the poets job to do that
ifn they cant, they better read
in a bookstore or library
beat coffeehouses work too
bars are rough, ive only heard
about 3 or 4 who could get attention,
real attention i mean.....jam on me!

Wind is blowing
Sun is shining...

For warmer weather
I'm a-pining,

Just wasting away
'Till a warmer day,

Winter is passing as
We speak,
First Spring week...
My computer
takes a Spring break/

So much snow work called today said don't bother listened to Frank Sinatra all morning
drank coffee strangers in the night no summer breeze when I was seventeen seems so
long ago the song makes no sense until it gets toward the end.

Shoveled and blew snow three times my back aches no breaks distant snowmobile sounds sounds weird after I went golfing last Friday in shorts wearing shorts now just to spite the storm
not just any old storm either accidents accidents everywhere my boys were in Nebraska I worried about them all night driving driving in the snow and the ice and one guy didn't text me
until almost six o'clock this morning no sleep no sir no how no way will need to sleep early tonight tomorrow will come early so yes sir how and way and need are a must for this bus to get going same damn thing tomorrow night Play it again, Sam, hot damn I hate this fucking winter.
