Jammin
half way along
ready for the hot sauce
the badda- Bing!
May approaches
time marches
we ain't gettin any younger
so we might as well JAM!

middle road
sneaking through the corridors
hiding out in senior's vans
fan recognition a flash in the pan
still the same way home

We went halfway down the runway
accelerating on an uphill ramp, stamped
our names on the trick-paint, race cars revving
determining to hit complete and win,
and though we thought it was neat
when we were streetwise, our outcries
mesmerized nobody but us, no doubt,
and we were just as nonplussed as you were.

a stroke of the pen
a blurt of the tongue

genius to some
accident to others
it all could be art

As has been said many times before, & I repeat again:
Sometimes life imitates art & vice versa.
Things happen & we may deal with them in unique ways--
while expressing ourselves, using new methods.

Life runs in cycles as do the seasons...
Spring surprises us in many different ways.
Beauty comes with our reactions.
The ordinary becomes sublime.
A sunrise hits us with a certain nuance within our senses.
An ordinary mockingbird makes us laugh.
A moment of rainy mist brings us joy...

me & the nail lady
all that's left upstairs
here over 9 years now
in old frederick town
Baltimore a distant memory
but we're still Jammin
after all these years
writing our way to
1st thought bliss
laying it down on the keys
may 1st manana

A yearning breeze is killing me.

Yesterday, we all met face-to-face.
And, by the grace of God, it was very cool!
Now we will move forward to pool
our resources to create a Church of Art
(or some other way, we will be a part of spreading
the Word that ART SAVES!)
Yesterday was fab! I give it two thumbs up.
