Variations On a Theme

Music, like prayer and poetry
are unnecessary variations on silence,
amusing noises, wrinkles in the smooth
like braille written on a mirror

no bump or dash is superior
the whey no nobler than the curd
motion is an unnecessary variation on stillness
listen to the quiet between the words
"These words don't make me a poet, these Eyes make me a poet."

music & motion is as necessary as silence & stillness...yin & yang mr. lrod. but i get your point. ever so cleverly & poetic
