The 4th Screen

Post by Doreen Peri » April 14th, 2009, 11:03 pm

On the 1st screen, we watched
Ed Sullivan and Perry Mason episodes.

On the 2nd screen, we had floppy disks,
then CDs, then an internet connection
for software uploads.

Now we carry around the 3rd screen
in our jacket or jeans pockets.

Where will the 4th screen be? I wonder.
Embedded behind our eye sockets?

Maybe implanted hardware in the brain next?

Have you ever met anyone who told you that some government agency planted a micro chip in his head? I used to work the graveyard shift in a truck stop. You meet the most interesting people in truck stops.

Mine's in my back. You know that itchy place you just can't reach between the shoulder blades? Where else would it be placed? Figuratively speaking, of course.:)

Long live...

Peace,
Barry

At some point we become the screen. The screen becomes us. Not sure of the numbering system. I think it varies.
