HAIKU 73 OLD BARN

Post by Sue Littleton » September 3rd, 2010, 8:56 pm

73.

silver sided barn
wood planks warped from season’s storms
beauty wrought by age

granero con paredes plateadas
tablas encorvadas con las tempestades de las estaciones
belleza forjado por los años

Thank you, saw and mindbum. Yep, ageing should be beautiful. I oughta know!

The translation came out rather well -- I am writing a book of Sueku and translating each poem and the Spanish was tacked on by accident in the posting.

Sue, I think posting the Spanish with the English is an excellent idea. What better way to begin learning a bit about another language. I begin to see the correlation of words. I can recognize which words are which. If that makes any sense. I love all of your sueku.
