Or hear Marilyn’s

Final words before
She croaked naked in

Her bed although she
Dreamed she lay beside

Her attempting the
Kiss of life and shook

The frozen hand of
JFK two nights

After his dying
Day and kissed the lips

Of Brando on a
Midsummer’s night and

In a dream sweaty
And damp between the

Thighs making it with
Elvis on a king

Size bed although he
Was sleeping or dead

But Pollock never
Showed in her dreams so

She painted alone
On the apartment

Wall by the light of
The icy cold moon.
