The pleasures to enjoy.

Ahhh… the pleasures to enjoy!
We do not toy with games unless
they're played on boards and when
the cards are dealt, we take our hand,
assess it's worth, and play each heart
with purpose and with care!

The minute hand which measures
all we wish and all we dare, each moment
treasured as a spell is cast, the ways our
lives entwine and last, a mystery unfolds!

And have I told you yet or could you guess
that wholes are filled by all the art you are?
As far as birds will fly, as far as cries can
echo through the night, there is no space
between which can destroy
the pleasures to enjoy!

We do not toy with games nor blame
each other for our crowns of thorn,
and yes, today I'm honored
by the day when you were born!
Ahhh… the pleasures to enjoy!

Joel... do you have spy cameras in my house? LOL... actually this was a hand-written poem inside a blank greeting card I sent to someone special, which i later typed up to save and post. How'd you know? hah!
