LYING WITH COCO (Strong language)

Post by dadio » February 4th, 2011, 8:38 am

You lie beside Coco on the sofa
And gaze at her and you know you love her

And just like the way she lies there with her
Arm resting across her forehead too much

Of men she says and last night that ruffian
Was here and I know Madam says to tell

Her but it’s such a to-do and besides
You have to take the rough with the smooth as

My mother used to say and by God she
Did my father being a right fuck and

All and you listen to her and watch her
Lips move and the way her nose just is and

You want to kiss it and her all over
As you did a few nights before once the

Men had gone and you’d both washed and cleaned up
And were ready for bed and she just grabbed

You and the next thing you know you’re in her
Bed making hot love but now lying here

Being in the sight of others waiting
For the men to come waiting for the sex

To start putting on the false lashes and
Smiles and spreading the legs you can only

Lie there watching her and she’ll say Mimi
Why do look at me so? But Holy

Mary she always says that, she has her
Ways, her little bit of fun, but she knows.

has the flow of someone trying to explain the world without letting anyone get in a word in edgewise ........the complexities of paintings are most often the complexities of life, that we probably rarely try to verbalize....you have a knack for weaving art into words.....
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

I was gonna say, it has a little different feeling than some of your others...in a way that is intriguing and pushing...a great one (and a great painting).
