valentine

Post by creativesoul » February 14th, 2011, 1:21 pm

i watch the horizon
in a no time moment
i put tabacco out each morning
i pray
i take care of what i love

i loved strong, hard and with depth
i left in the most honorable way i have ever left
my wealth is who i loved
i was fortunate
then?
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

Love is wealth isn't it? Love & friendships gets us through the blues even on the internet. :)

then... in a self imposed isolation i rush from my home towards the ocean

inspiration engulfs me as i submerge
all of me into water
outside the reef there are waves
i am protected here

new surfer guys are staying next door
the exlixor of kauai
has them talking in words that the rest of us have heard
from 60,000 tourists a day
asking for directions
stopping for no reason

then the experts of kauai perk up
try to slick up and get hired as a guide
my local friends love this
wearing hilo hatties is like target practice
for the young hustler

bankers in inside out hawaiian shirts
eating local plates
looking like cops

young girls looking like jail bait on the lawn of hanalei gourmet
all the kids at cold pond smoking herb
luma hai shell search in the dawn
all the things i love on the horizon
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---
