down by the great gutter of crossroads
time runs through tall grass of green suns
coins of ghost gold shine through the murk
waves of curtains draw over the smokey light
I'm down by the glitter gutter of crossroads
following the street signs into the jazz lands
the tombstone sky moves back like a conjurer
crack, the clock falls off the wall, crack the gun
writes the words across the empty hands clap
I been wandering down by the broke wire bends
down by the great gutter, by the mutter and woe
way back where that old road turns and strikes
like a rubbery old rattle snake, and it takes and
breaks the heart like a child's make believe toy
and it turns and snaps like a snap dragon at my heels
oh I been wanderin and a thinkin about how the wind
blows where the wild flowers once broke down the laws
that they done made to keep beauty from walkin talls
oh I been thinkin about razor blades and spoons of honey
wanderin along the carnival towns where the stars shine
like Egyptian eyes comin through the underground dark
I was waiting by the river of no names floating by blacken trees
oh way calling through the great gutter of crossroads, she breaths
crosses her fingers, the last street of signs and winds around the
ball of mazes where the fortune teller mountains dance on glass
she passes into the huge wall of voices of mystic clowns and crows
all I knows, is the trains of snows sit on stove pipe hats with diamond
black cats runnin through the legs of forest tables where the moon lit
leaves of ancient silence peel back from her cryptic lips, she utters
and a wing of cloth sweeps across flames of broken letters cry
written on the water of nowhere, where the sun drips on dirty stone
I wait for the torn shape to pass like a sigh, by the place where the sun done
and goes where the grass of green time sings along the fallen songs so long

it's another 15 minute experimental
i was thinking of lyrics for a song
maybe try an edit, i have some vague
idea and i just try to sketch it like a drawing
sometimes if i write wild it gives me another
always looking for some missing lines or sound

like shotgunning ideas i often do that with bass lines
play wild then edit it down to a functional rythem
