I met a funny little troll who tried to get my goat.
One day that funny little troll got a phrase stuck in his throat.
Now every time he opens his mouth, all that he can say,
Is "sorry, you're right, sorry, you're right" day after day after day.
I'm not sure who did this thing, to that funny little troll.
Really don't think about it, except to find it rather droll.
But if I ever meet the guy who took him down a peg.
I'll take him to the nearest pub and offer to buy him a keg.
Perhaps it's true that trolls do have a place in our small world,
But I love to see them get their due; I'm just that kind of girl.
The Day of the Troll.

Re: The Day of the Troll.
after reading the first verse my thought was oh my the troll must of gotten married.as i continued i see it was a curse from a wizard that beat him in a battle of wits as we know trolls have big heads and small wits so not a task to daunting any way i like this poem and have little sympathy for the troll

Thanks for reading and replying. Glad you got a giggle. I like making people smile.
And I have no sympathy for trolls at all. Just for their victims.
