rust (2)

Post by joel » April 27th, 2011, 8:32 am

I’m pretty sure I’ll never understand
the reasons why you love me, yet I trust
you, trust the softness of your gentle hand
upholding mine. And I’m to you as rusted
iron: hard and red— my metamorphosis,
my love’s direct reaction to your heart—
and this is something wonderful and this
is something natural because you start
to change me, to corrode my inner strength,
to take away my failed attempt to stand
alone. I rust with tears that run the length
of who I am with joy and love and grand
compelling mysteries, the likes of you,
corrupting “natural” with something true.
"Every genuinely religious person is a heretic, and therefore a revolutionary" -- GBShaw

take the T from trust and you are left with rust.....return the T and you have the basics of T-rue love.....
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading
