MANDREL L0VED DRY WEATHER.

Post by dadio » July 8th, 2011, 3:42 am

Mandrel loved dry weather,
He hated cold wet days,
Disliked the dark clouds
That came on Mondays
And settled over his modest house.
He liked to sit naked
In his back garden ,
Unaware his neighbours peeped
Through curtains or shutters
And whispered about his antics
In disapproving mutters.
He closed his eyes
And dreamed of sunny beaches,
Far off shores of distant lands,
Surrounded by naked girls,
Who offered cold drinks,
And promises of sex,
And above his head,
The hot sun kissed
His naked flesh.
Mandrel’s wife often sat with him,
Her huge bulk hiding
The deckchair from sight,
Her swimsuit holding her in
As best it could, stressing the seams.
She was not in Mandrel’s dreams,
Took no part, no small scene,
No chorus girl, just sat there
At his side with her own eyes open
Scanning the skies for birds and sun
And darkening clouds, unaware
Her husband dreamed of other dames,
Had imaginary sex on sun kissed beaches,
Drank love juices from other cups,
And never gave her thought at all.
Mandrel loved the sunny days,
The days of naked sitting,
Of dreams of far away beaches
And yellow sands, far from his wife’s lips
And her crablike hands.

the stars painted on the floor
give off no light
but are made unmistakable
by their shape --------------- Thx, Terry. 8)
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

Dadio,

The only thing missing from this is the ejaculation, which from where I sit is pretty important.
