I'm Tellin' You NOW

Post by sooZen » February 25th, 2005, 8:14 am

Was it easter of 97? The date escapes me.
The usual family dinner:
you
Noah
your sister
Nate
your mom

I made potato salad, ham for hammers
all the fixin's
table set with the best stuff:
crystal
china
silver
it sparkled in the afternoon sun
on the sunporch

You and Noah discussing Jesus
and whether he was black or white
it got heated between you
sparks flew
potato salad flew
you flew
he flew

and I was left to clean up the mess
so I am telling you NOW
don't ever HST me.

again.

Love.

funny how a little potato salad
can echo a cannon shot
as worlds collide

mmmm hmmm, sooz.

What is it about holidays....more like hollerdays at our festive gatherings. A celebration of relatives misbehavin'!

Thanks for the read. :)

Nice one, my friend! But just remember, the eyes of the potato see everything . . .
